Course Details
Topics in this session focus on providing support services according to an established individualised plan. It is delivered as a blend of both theory and practical tasks.
Topics include:
- Identifying support needs
- Oral hygiene
- Dressing, undressing and grooming
- Toileting and continence aids
This course can be customised to meet organisational workforce needs.
Entry Requirements
There are no pre-entry study or qualification requirements, but to be eligible, you must:
- Possess suitable English language, literacy and numeracy skills (e.g. you will need to be able to read, understand and communicate care requirements on a care plan);
- Be at least 18 years of age
Study Methods and Duration
Typically, this is a half day course that is delivered face to face at our training venue by our experienced Training Officers.

Certification
A certificate of participation confirming the learning outcomes will be provided to each learner.
