Course Details
This is a non-accredited workshop focusing on basic First Aid techniques for carers.
For our nationally accredited Provide First Aid course, refer to the Accredited Short Courses section.
Topics include:
- Preserving life
- Preventing further injury
- Promoting recovery
- Protecting the unconscious
This course can be customised to meet organisational workforce needs.
Entry requirements
Entry requirements
There are no pre-entry study or qualification requirements, but to be eligible, you must:
- Possess suitable English language, literacy and numeracy skills (e.g. you will need to be able to read, understand and communicate care requirements on a care plan);
- Be at least 18 years of age

This course is delivered face to face at our Training venue by our experienced Trainers.
Qualification
Certification
A certificate of participation confirming the learning outcomes will be provided to each learner.
