What to bring with you on the day
Interested in training?
You’ll have the opportunity to enrol in a course on the day, so please bring with you:
- Photo ID
- Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number
- Proof of residency (i.e Australian Passport/Citizenship documents/Birth Certificate/ Permanent Residency)
Need funding support?
If you wish to receive funding to support your studies, you will need to bring:
- Photo ID
- Resume
- Concession Card (if applicable)
Work placement documents
The below items are not required at enrolment, but will be required prior to arranging a work placement:
- Current Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (unless medically exempt). This is an Australian Government requirement to work in aged care.

An introduction to Amana Living Training Institute
Amana Living Training Institute (ALTI) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO no. 0609)
We have delivered quality accredited and non-accredited training to thousands of Western Australians since 1998.
ALTI offers:
Training to external organisations and students;
Ageing, Disability, Home and Community, and Allied Health training programs, and;
Customised training to meet the changing needs of the care industry.

The role of the Student Services Team (SST)
The Student Services Team (SST) is your central point of contact during your studies at Amana Living Training Institute.
The SST is committed to providing you with a learning environment that will assist you in acquiring the skills and knowledge for you to improve your work performance.
Their role includes:
